I am a devoted husband, father, and proud Poppa. Raised in Northwest Indiana—where basketball is more than a game and discipline, teamwork, and character are deeply valued—I developed an early passion for mentoring, coaching, and guiding young people.
I attended Northeast Community College and Indiana University–Purdue University Fort Wayne, where I pursued a degree in Elementary Education. For more than 30+ years, I have served as a coach and mentor to boys and girls of diverse ages, backgrounds, and cultures, using athletics and education as tools to build confidence, character, and life skills.
My life’s work is rooted in helping youth and adults become positive role models, engaged citizens, and healthy, whole individuals. As a founder, my commitment to this nonprofit is driven by a deep belief in equity, inclusion, and opportunity for all families. I am passionate about creating environments where individuals are supported, encouraged, and equipped to thrive—both on and off the court.
One of my favorite quotes are: Greatness isn’t just something people are born with…They are trained to be great.

I am a dedicated wife, mother, and proud Glam mother originally from East Chicago, Indiana. A former high school and collegiate athlete, I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Education and bring over 29+ years of experience coaching, mentoring, and developing young people across diverse communities.
My work has centered on equipping children and families with the skills, structure, and support needed to thrive physically, mentally, and emotionally. I have served more than 20 years in youth ministry and have extensive experience in both public and private school settings, providing me with a deep understanding of education, youth development, and community-based impact.
Driven by a passion for holistic wellness, leadership, and active living, I remain committed to empowering families to make healthy choices, build resilience, and model strong citizenship—creating sustainable pathways for growth and well-being.
My favorite quote: Helping one person might not change the world, but it could change the world for one person.
